Arguably one of the best small venues on the north side Schubas is an old Schlitz tied house and pub. It’s a historic piece of Chicago that, like many other venues, is in danger right now during the pandemic. It’s owners have banded together with others across the nation in the form of NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) to push congress to support the Save Our Stages Act (H.R. 7806 / S. 4258) to address what needs to be done to keep our local venues afloat.
