Several years ago, in the pre-pandemic days, I ordered a custom designed and engineered air filter mask on Kickstarter, thinking it might be useful for cycling downtown to work so I’m not breathing in car exhaust fumes constantly.
As with many Kickstarter hardware pieces it was delayed, and delayed, and delayed again until I forgot about. Then they started talking about it again as the pandemic began to spread. And now finally it’s here, minus the promised battery pack, air quality sensor or mobile app. But nevertheless I’m happy to have it and a ton of filters for it. It’s a remarkable piece of engineering.
Unfortunately, it also doesn’t fit my face and there are no returns.
So, now my wife has an ultra-high-end air filter mask?
