Our home office has transformed into a gym where I use the free weights, yoga mats and other miscellaneous equipment I’ve acquired over the years in a short 30 minute daily routine. I’ve been doing this since February (right before lockdown began) and I’ve lost 20lbs in the process and put on a lot of muscle. I can confidently state that at 38 years old, I’m in the best shape of my life. That feels really weird to be honest. A few years ago I was suffering serious effects of untreated hypothyroidism and I was easily in the worst shape of my life. With proper treatment, a healthy diet and a great exercise routine, today I feel 10 years younger than I did at 35.
