At the corner of Wilson and Kenmore Avenues in Chicago you will find Uptown Pizza & BBQ. I’ve been meaning to check this place out for years and finally did it by ordering the ‘Thin Crust Taco’ pizza, which is a feast unto itself. They PILE on the fresh veggies, beans, meat and cheese, and if you like, fresh jalapeño. It was absolutely astoundingly delicious, although it set my mouth ablaze. I will definitely be back again soon, though, I’ll probably ask for them to go easy on the jalapeños next time.
